Another stellar Summer 1991 show, particularly set 2 but listen to the whole show, you'll be glad you did (17m Shakedown as 2nd tune!). What you haven't heard this tour. Get thee downloading.

It's not captured on the recordings, but there was approximately 10 minutes of pretty elaborate fireworks set off following the encore. Oh Summer '91...how I miss your shows. Thanks Archive!!

Great show. The SBD doesn't really capture the way the sound bounced around Soldier Field. But there is a decent audience recording that sounds amazing considering that he didn't set up his full rig.

The winds were howling on that chilly summer evening. I think a lot of Chicago-land Deadheads weren't prepared for the tempestuous weather. Between Shakedown and Let It Grow, I think it might be the best first set I ever saw.
